Subject RE: parallel installation of two different tomcat versions

Hi,

You need to modify the start up scripts to set the values of CATALINA_HOME
to point to the correct versions of tomcat. Do not set CATALINA_HOME (or
CATALINA_BASE) globally. Then just start each version of tomcat using their
respective modified startup scripts. Note that you will have to make sure
that they are both listening on different ports for http as well as any
control ports (ajp12, ajp13 etc.)

Hope this helps

Subject: parallel installation of two different tomcat versions

hello,

can anybody tell me how to install and run two different tomcat versions
(4.0.x and 4.1.x) on a w2k workstation.

Our testing environment needs to have two tomcats running at a time. But
they to be different versions like for example 4.0.1 and 4.1.24

thanks for your help.
