Right well I failed to attach my server.xml - so I went to save it as a txt
file and while I was there checked again to make sure I had path="" - and
behold I had path="/" - damn it, damn it, damn it!!  I check before but
failed to see it :(

Use path="" in your context spec.

Perhaps you have another Context in your webapps dir overriding the Context from your server.xml.
I think one shouldn't define Context in the server.xml

any more.
