Subject connection timed out
Date Wed, 23 Apr 2003 23:21:05 GMT
I am getting the following appear in catalina.out after EVERY connection
to my web server:
Apr 23, 2003 3:23:08 PM org.apache.jk.common.ChannelSocket processConnection
INFO: connection timeout reached

This is with apache 2.0.45 connected to tomcat 4.1.24 using mod_jk2
(compiling from jakarta-tomcat-connectors-4.1.24-src)
running on Solaris 2.8 (intel) with JDK 1.4.1.

Apache was compiled with the following options:
--with-mpm=worker --enable-mods-shared=all --enable-so --enable-ssl
--enable-include --disable-auth_digest --disable-dav-fs
--disable-isapi --disable-ldap --disable-auth-ldap --with-ssl=/usr/local/ssl

mod_jk2 was compiled with the following options:
--with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs --enable-jni
--with-java-home=/usr/j2se --with-java-platform=2

JNI is not being used however, the channelSocket method is being used as
JNI just doesn't work on my platform.

I saw a discussion about this in the archives, relating to Apache 1.3,
but that didn't shed any light on the actual problem.

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Thanks

Chris
