Subject RE: executing jsp from linux shell
Date Mon, 07 Apr 2003 13:17:22 GMT
write a java threaded class ( say URLDisplayer ) and use httpURLConnection
class to open the JSP file(s) using this class ...
put this java class ( URLDisplayer ) into the crontag and output the out put
of the jsp page to some log file ....

in this way you know what is the outout ( through the log file ) and the jsp
will execute what it needs to do ..
what do you say ?????

Subject: executing jsp from linux shell

Hello,

here is my concern: i would like to execute daily *.jsp files from the a
linux
environment.
This means creating a script calling by the crontable and executing the
compiled
jsp's. The server is tomcat (as you might have guessed) and i wonder how to
call
these jsp's from a shell command.
Does anyone have the solution??
Thanks!
Paul
