Depends on what you want.  What the Servlet-spec doesn't allow is that you
can't match a path like: "/appbase/dolookup5" with your pattern.

You want

No asterisk, no context name (/appbase in your case).  Url patterns are
relative to the context, so you don't need the context in there.  The
asterisk complicates the mapping unnecessarily.
