Thanks all...
I've seen most of the links that were given.  However money is an issue,
that is why I was looking for links to better docs... not buyin a book...
just can't do it right now...
Does anyone know of any other links???   Jake, you mentioned a link to a PDF
but didn't include it, would you be so kind?

So the general consensus is Log4j over jdk1.4 logging & including
commons-logging so in the future when we upgrade and/or switch loggers it
will be easier?

Does anyone have experience with both Log4j & jdk1.4-loggin???
