Subject RE: Building Mod_jk on Redhat 7.2

My advice: don't even deal with ant.

CONNECTOR_HOME = place where you put connector source

- cd CONNECTOR_HOME/jk/native. Be sure to READ the file named BUILDING.
- run the buildconf script: ./buildconf.sh
- you may see some error messages about aclocal and autom4te...these can be
ignored.
- run the configure script: ./configure
--with-apxs=/some/path/to/apache/bin/apxs
- run make
- the mod_jk.so file should be in CONNECTOR_HOME/jk/native/apache-1.3. Copy
it to your Apache modules directory.

OR

download a binary

http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat-connectors/jk/release/v1.2.2
/bin/linux/i386/
