Hi Markus,

Does a servlet name always have to start with an uppercase letter?

The reason I wrote the URL like this:
http://localhost:8080/mytest/servlet/sqlnames

is only because of how I wrote the web.xml file which looks like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>

<!DOCTYPE web-app
    PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.2//EN"
    "http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-app_2_2.dtd">

<web-app>

    <servlet>

	  <servlet-name>

		sqlnames

	  </servlet-name>

        <servlet-class>

            MySQLNamesTest

        </servlet-class>
   </servlet>
</web-app>

Maybe I need to change this somehow?

Please advise,

Alan
