Subject Apache Virt host problem. 3 days at it now!
Date Fri, 28 Jun 2002 21:52:32 GMT

I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone can offer. I have been at
this for about 3 days and have read just about every thing on the net. This
should be working.

Anyway, I have apache and tomcat 4.03. I can access tomcat and all the
examples fine on my ip:8080/examples/ and all the tests work. I can also
access apache on prot 80 no problem. Now just getting them to connect.....
I want to use a virtual host in apache and have that content directory be
able to use jsp pages.

When I access the virtual host, if get the tomcat-apache 404 page:
------------------------------
Apache Tomcat/4.0.4 - HTTP Status 404 -
/longdistance.3web.com/english/test.jsp

type Status report

message /longdistance.3web.com/english/test.jsp

description The requested resource (/longdistance.3web.com/english/test.jsp)
is not available.

-----------------------------------

In my httpd.conf:

I load the jk_mod.so, workers file, jklog file,
JkMount /* ajp13
JkMount /servelet/* ajp13

and then a standard virtual host section. I specify:
NameVirtualHost 192.168.0.1:80 (not the real IP) its a second IP bound to
the machine (Linux RedHat 7.3)
and then a Virtual host ) When I go to the ip, that's when I get the 404
error.

Here is what I get for mod_jk.log when I access the virtual host:
