Subject 'charSet' property JDBC-Driver
Date Fri, 21 Jun 2002 09:45:16 GMT
Hi,

is it possible to set the 'charSet' property of the JDBC-Driver via Context-Resource in the
server.xml?
If not, any solution for setting 'charSet'??

 Example:

<Resource name="jdbc/db" auth="Container" type="javax.sql.DataSource" />
          <ResourceParams name="jdbc/db">
            <parameter><name>factory</name><value>org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSourceFactory</value></parameter>
            <parameter><name>maxActive</name><value>100</value></parameter>
            <parameter><name>maxIdle</name><value>30000</value></parameter>
            <parameter><name>maxWait</name><value>100</value></parameter>
            <parameter><name>username</name><value>tomcat</value></parameter>
            <parameter><name>password</name><value>xxoxxo</value></parameter>
            <parameter><name>charSet</name><value>CP1252</value></parameter>
            <parameter><name>driverClassName</name><value>org.postgresql.Driver</value></parameter>
            <parameter><name>url</name><value>jdbc:postgresql://192.14.47.11:5432/mydb</value></parameter>
          </ResourceParams>
