Subject RE: Memory Leak of JDBC Drive
Date Mon, 06 May 2002 22:40:43 GMT
Thanks for the heads-up!
We have a similar environment (JDK 1.3.1, tomcat 4.0.1, SQL 7 / WinNT4,
JNetDirect driver) and I have asked the guy who takes care of it if he
is having similar problems.
I will follow up when I know more - maybe we can drive towards the
solution from different directions. ;-)

I am not sure it is caused by Tomcat or SQL Server. The memory can't
recovered by restart Tomcat. But restart SQL Server does.

Hi Jack,

What JVM are you using? Java 1.4 has a memory leak in the javac
that causes a problem under Tomcat.

Are you sure it's SQL Server and not Tomcat with the memory leak?
