Gary -
	I got this error early on and it was caused by having two Tomcat sessions going at once.
 Maybe the Windows service and then another instance started manually??  Look at Task Manager
and see if there is already a Tomcat.exe running when you try to start it up again.

Adrian,

   I'm currently running on XP Professional using JSDK 1.4.0, JRTE 1.4.0 and
Tomcat 4.0.3.  Is this what you are requesting?  Please excuse me, but I'm
new to Tomcat and JAVA.
