Set up your servlet in web.xml like this:
	<servlet>
	    <servlet-name>myservlet</servlet-name>
	    <servlet-class>myservlet.class.file</servlet-class>
	</servlet>

	<servlet-mapping>
	    <servlet-name>myservlet</servlet-name>
	    <url-pattern>/</url-pattern>
	</servlet-mapping>

When you access apps.mysite.com, you will be accessing myservlet.
