Subject Tomcat/Apache acces control
Date Fri, 01 Feb 2002 12:26:46 GMT
hi everybody,

I have a question about access control using the Tomcat/Apache service,
with the WARP connector

in httpd.conf, when I only keep (out of the VH's section),

<Directory />
        AllowOverride None
        Order Allow,Deny
        Deny from all
</Directory>

I still can access the site;

Do I have to put these lines in my VH's section ?
Does Tomcat have priority for access control ?

if it does, how do I configure access control ? with which parameters ?
in web.xml or server.xml ?

I'm using RedHat 7.1, apache 1.3.22, mod_webapp and Tomcat 4.0.1

thanks in advance
