Subject RE: Regarding jk_nt_service.exe
Date Mon, 21 Jan 2002 17:39:48 GMT
It's not mandatory to run it as a service but it would be useful since you
don't have to start every time you reboot your machine. Also, with
jk_nt_service, all the logs are written to the log files which are useful
for debugging.

For which version of tomcat do you need jk_nt_service?
For Tomcat 3.3 you can get it from here
http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-tomcat/release/v3.3/bin/win32/i386/

For Tomcat 4.x, installer takes care of it.

Hope this helps you.

Subject: Regarding jk_nt_service.exe

Hi,
Would you tell me where can I download the NT service exe?
I used to run tomcat on NT without this patch and other settings in my
config files.My servlets still run.
Is it mandatory to run this exe while running on NT server?
Please help at your earliest!!!
Thank you very much.

Regards
Sanjay.
