I am using Tyrex with Tomcat 4.0. I do not see any Tyrex configuration file in the download of Tomcat 4.0. Where should this file be if I am to create one? Is there any documentation on how to use and configure Tyrex with Tomcat 4.0? Things seem to work but it is not very useable if it is not configurable. Anyone out there with any comments on using Tyrex for database connections pooling in general? I did see some earlier postings stating that connections are not being pooled. But when I look at the source code I see that Tomcat is using tyrex.jdbc.xa.EnabledDataSource. So I am not sure if I need to use the PooledConnectionDataSource myself. Should I be using something else that is more commonly used (for example, poolman)?
