Subject RE: how to configure mod_jk (tomcat 3.3) for multiple hosts?
Date Mon, 29 Oct 2001 09:54:40 GMT
Only responded in user list :

Said you have 3 boxes running tomcat, sysa, sysb, sysc :
You'll create 3 connections named cona, conb, conc

In workers.properties :

worker.list=cona, conb, conc

worker.cona.port=8009
worker.cona.host=sysa
worker.cona.type=ajp13
worker.cona.lbfactor=1

worker.conb.port=8009
worker.conb.host=sysb
worker.conb.type=ajp13
worker.conb.lbfactor=1

worker.conc.port=8009
worker.conc.host=sysc
worker.conc.type=ajp13
worker.conc.lbfactor=1

worker.lbcon.type=lb
worker.lbcon.balanced_workers=sysa, sysb, sysc

in httpd.conf :

JkMount /examples/servlet/* lbcon
JkMount /examples/*.jsp lbcon

Regards

NB:

lbfactor Specifies the load balance factor when used with
a load balancing worker.
Low lbfactor means less work done by the worker.
