Subject servlet mapping, tomcat 3.3
Date Mon, 29 Oct 2001 13:10:03 GMT
Hi everyone,

How can I accomplish servlet mapping with Tomcat 3.3? In previous
versions, I used to have something like below in my web.xml file that
mapped all *.py files to a particular servlet. Looks like everything
has changed for 3.3 and I'm not sure where this stuff belongs:

<servlet>
     <servlet-name>PyServlet</servlet-name>
     <servlet-class>org.python.util.PyServlet</servlet-class>
     <init-param>
       <param-name>python.path</param-name>

<param-value>.:/home/mddevel/MD8_Devel/MD8/packages/md/www/keyword_style_search/dif/util:/home/mddevel/MD8_Devel/MD8/scripts/reports</param-value>

     </init-param>
     <init-param>
       <param-name>python.home</param-name>

<param-value>/home/mddevel/MD8_Devel/MD8/packages/jython</param-value>
     </init-param>
   </servlet>

   <servlet-mapping>
        <servlet-name>
            PyServlet
        </servlet-name>
        <url-pattern>
            *.py
        </url-pattern>
   </servlet-mapping>

Thanks,
Chris
