Well, there may not be a port, ever, and it has nothing
to do with the will of the fBSD proting team. Read
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/url.cgi?ports/java/jdk12-beta/pkg-descr
So you can have Java 2 on fBSD now, you'll simply have to build it.
