<DIV></DIV>&gt;Date: Fri, 29 Jun 2001 17:03:27 -0700
<DIV></DIV>&gt;OS-red hat 7.0, apache 1.3, tomcat 3.2
<DIV></DIV>&gt;I currently have Apache on port 80, Tomcat port 8080
<DIV></DIV>&gt;with mod_jk adapter. The servlets
<DIV></DIV>&gt;and jsp examples work off of localhost:8080, but they
<DIV></DIV>&gt;do not work off localhost:80.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;I have the Tomcat User Guide, the Tomcat-Apache
<DIV></DIV>&gt;HOWTO, and the Working with Mod-JK
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Manual for reference. I am using the auto generated
<DIV></DIV>&gt; and basically just
<DIV></DIV>&gt;want Apache to serve the static content and Tomcat the
<DIV></DIV>&gt;dynamic jsp and servlets.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Unless, I'm missing something the static html pages and
<DIV></DIV>&gt;the .jsp pages should
<DIV></DIV>&gt;be off of port 80 and then the jk adapter should
<DIV></DIV>&gt;transfer the .jsp request to Tomcat
<DIV></DIV>&gt;via port 8007 using the apj12 protocol.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;But i get the following message:
<DIV></DIV>&gt;You don't have permission to access /examples/jsp/index.html
on this
<DIV></DIV>&gt;I have 755 access to the examples folder and also to the super

<DIV></DIV>&gt;webapps.Any reason why this problem?
