Hi,

Is your Database MSAccess?

If yes then try Statement s=cn.createStatement(ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_READ_ONLY);
for a full blown Explain Explaination Please go through Java Docs.
