JDBC connection pooling !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomcat do not provide resource pooling ? I think ?

I know that some JDBC driver support pooling in native !!! Or you can use
your own pooling mechanism, use minerva, poolman, jpool ....

Does anyone know if Tomcat supports JDBC connection Pooling similar to
WebSphere?
Any information would be appreciated.
