Hi Adam,
Thank you for replying. well i did start the tomcat
server. i am using the latest build. Catalina (Tomcat
4.0) . Tomcat displays the following message
------------------------------------
Starting service Tomcat-Standalone
Apache Tomcat/4.0-dev
Starting service Tomcat-Apache
Apache Tomcat/4.0-dev

And further, Tomcat is working perfectly in standalone
mode . I can access port 8080. Similarly, tomcat ,
standalone is working fine.
