get that error when i run 


for a in *.c
do
    gcc -DUW=700 -DUSE_HSREGEX -I../jk/ -I/usr/local/apache/include/
-I/usr/local/apache/include/unixware -c $a
done

gcc --share -o mod_jk.so *.o

the above should go through and compile all of the .c's into .o's 
for some reason it is blowing up during the linking phase

Did you rebuild all object files (.o)?,
you can't miss any one.
