Subject Re: How to disable directory listing in Tomcat?

Hi, Joseph,

You can:

a) create an index.jsp page for your directory, or
b) create (or edit, if you have it already...) a web.xml file for your
webapp and alter the <welcome-file-list> section:

    <welcome-file-list>
       <welcome-file>
            index.jsp
        </welcome-file>
        <welcome-file>
            index.html
        </welcome-file>
        <welcome-file>
            index.htm
        </welcome-file>

         <!-- add this to enable abc as your welcome page -->
        <welcome-file>
            abc.jsp
        </welcome-file>

    </welcome-file-list>
