Ann,
Have you tried putting Acb.class under WEB-INF/classes and leaving off
the codebase parm? 
Or change 
out.println ("<applet code=Abc.class>");
to 
out.println ("<applet code=applet/Abc.class>");
and remove the codebase parm?
