Subject getRealPath

I tried this:

I created a directory to host an web app OUTSIDE tomcat. Created a context
as follows:

<Context path="/some/long/path" docBase="\\afct_003\C\morewebapps\test"
debug="0" reloadable="true" >
        </Context>

then

The virtual path given by request.getRequestURI() is
/some/long/path/realPath.jsp
The real path given by getServletContext.getRealpath(virtual path) is
\\afct_003\C\morewebapps\test/some/long/path/realPath.jsp
<\\afct_003\C\morewebapps\test/some/long/path/realPath.jsp>

Which is wrong, since /some/long/path is not in the real path !

I tried with a path/context INSIDE Tomcat with the same result.

Is it a bug of TOMCAT ? I'm using v 3.1. If so is it corrected in 3.2b5 (or
6) ?
