Dear David,

As far as figuring out your error message, it would help if you would post
the pieces of your web.xml file and your tld file...

Since you already have a working taglib on your server (in the built-in
tomcat examples), it seems that you should first try to get that tag library
working in your ROOT context.  You can examine exactly how everything has
been set up in the "examples" context.

Then, you can know that logistically you've set everything up correctly, and
then focus on making sure that your code works.
