Subject RE: Tomcat 3.1 and Apache 1.3.14 On Win98
Date Thu, 20 Jul 2000 11:33:41 GMT
Hi Brian.

I ve exactly the same products and a similar problem...
If you solve this problem let me know how, please...

Thanks in advance,
Vanessa Redstone

P.D:
I think that this line "LoadModule jserv_module libexec/mod_jserv.so"

should be commented if you are running on NT and the one

"# LoadModule jserv_module modules/ApacheModuleJServ.dll"

should be uncommented (you need also the dll in your modules folder in tomcat i think)

Subject: Tomcat 3.1 and Apache 1.3.14 On Win98

  All,

How do I get these products to work together?

  - Tomcat 3.1 is installed at C:\Program Files\Tomcat
  - Apache 1.3.14 is installed at C:\Apache
  - ApacheModuleJServ.dll is installed at C:\Apache\modules

  - Tomcat is started by running C:\Program Files\Tomcat\bin\startup.bat
  - When I then start Apache I get this semi-reassuring message: Apache/1.3.14 (Win32) tomcat/1.0
running...

  - When I run a JSP page, I get an app server error :(

  Any ideas?

  Thanks in advance,

  Brian
