Subject RE: Recompiling Tomcat - Newbie Question

You would be compiling your own code with Java2, but Tomcat's code is
already compiled with a Java2 compiler.

You don't need to worry about Tomcat classes, only yours.

Also, the servlet spec came out in Java2, I believe, so I wouldn't suspect
that Tomcat ever used Java 1.1.

Subject: Recompiling Tomcat - Newbie Question

Hello everyone,

I wanted to use Tomcat as servlet container on NT with Java 2. Could anyone
point me to someplace where it's explained how to recompile the whole thing
with Java 2 compiler?

Best regards,

Marko
