Subject Who's serving my images? Apache or Tomcat?
Date Mon, 25 Sep 2000 16:30:09 GMT
I have Apache-Tomcat running together. I have an application context of
"web_app" specified so that when I go to "http://mysite/web_app" I'm
getting all the correct JSP stuff being served by Tomcat instead of
Apache. From what I've read, its best to use Apache whenever you don't
need JSP and Servlets. So my question is this: If I have tags in my jsp
page that refer to "../images/some_picture.gif" will that image be served
by Apache? Note the "../" moves it up one level and out of the application
so I'm thinking Apache takes care of it when the browser encounters the
<img> tag and then requests it. Is this correct?

Thanks,
