Subject context loaded twice
Date Wed, 20 Sep 2000 15:02:39 GMT

If I set a context myContext to be the root context in
server.xml

<Context
path=""

docBase="webapps/myContext"

debug="0"

reloadable="false" >
        </Context>

then it is accessible either through / or through
/myContext/,
so it is loading two copies into memory. This is a waste and could
have weird effects.

I guess that if I want to disable automatic context loading and only load
ones I have explicitly named, I get rid of

        <ContextInterceptor
className="org.apache.tomcat.context.AutoSetup" />

?right?

If I do do this, will the myContext.war file still be automatically
expanded for context which I have registered?

Thanks,

Al.
