Subject RE: Pass varable in <%@include %> statement in jsp

Hi,

The type of include that you are trying to do is done at compile time
(i.e. the variable won't be known). Use <jsp:include> instead.
That does the include at run time (remember, there is a performance
penalty for this...).

Can anybody tell me can I pass a variable in a include statment.
I've try it as
<%@ include file = "<%=abc%>" %>
but error meggage prompt out.

I am working in a page need to include different page in different cases
(if-else loop)
And lots of variable share between the page and the included page. so It
is not efficient to use
<jsp:include page = ""/>

Best regards,
Fannie
