Subject mod_jk in fault-tolerant only
Date Tue, 26 Sep 2000 13:30:35 GMT
Hi,

mod_jk works well with ajp12/ajp13 in normal or load-balancing
systems. But what about a fault-tolerant only architecture.

Did we have to do that with a high LBFACTOR to master
and mini to backup  :

# workers.properties

workers.tomcat_home=/opt/tomcat
workers.java_home=/opt/IBMJava2-13
ps=/
worker.list=masterw, backupw
# MASTER
worker.masterw.port=8009
worker.masterw.host=mymasterhost
worker.masterw.type=ajp13
# ----> Low lbfactor means less work done by the worker.
worker.masterw.lbfactor=1000
# BACKUP
worker.backupw.port=8009
worker.backupw.host=mybackuphost
worker.backupw.type=ajp13
# ----> Low lbfactor means less work done by the worker.
worker.backupw.lbfactor=1

# LB
worker.loadbalancer.type=lb
worker.loadbalancer.balanced_workers=masterw, backupw

Thanks
