Subject RE: Tomcat 3.2 and SSL?????
Date Mon, 11 Sep 2000 14:31:49 GMT
Sorry,

I was wrong. Even in the nightly builds the server.xml points to
org.apache.tomcat.util.net.SSLSocketFactory but it is NOT there. So, where
can I find it ?

Just a follow-up. In the 20000911 build the .net. class is
in webserver.jar
and the server.xml correctly points to it, so the problem is
with the
		milestone build.

				Craig,

The SSL Connector definition in the
server.xml is still
		pointing to
				org.apache.tomcat.net.SSLSocketFactory which
moved recently
		to
				org.apache.tomcat.util.net.SSLSocketFactory,
so running the
		snippet as it is
				raises a ClassNotFoundException.

I can't find any of these classes in
webserver.jar (I'm
		using 3.2 Beta 3).

Yes. There are notes in the
		"conf/server.xml" file that
				comes with 3.2 that
describe what you have to do
to make it work
		(including
				installing JSSE, for
						example).
