Hi Tom

Mine was working fine until I switched from mod_jserv to mod_jk, and then I
got exactly the symptoms you described. Same environment except I'm running
3.2b4

I found recompiling apache with mod_dir as a shared module (rather than
built in) fixed the problem. Strange but true.
