For Tomcat 3.x, the alternative way to share libraries across all web apps is to put them on the system CLASSPATH, or put them in the $TOMCAT_HOME/lib directory and Tomcat will add them automatically (this latter feature works for Windows only with recent 3.2beta releases). > > lee Craig McClanahan
