Subject server.xml: docBase-Prop., Including another Webserver
Date Fri, 04 Aug 2000 07:57:34 GMT
Hi,
how can I make a virtual directory for another server in the server.xml
(if it is the right place ?!). I'm using tomcat 3.1 standalone on WinNT.

Normally I try this (for a relative path on the same server):
<Context path="/test" docBase="webapps/test" debug="0" reloadable="true"
>
</Context>

If I try to make a virtual path as link on the webserver 1:
<Context path="/mapping" docBase="http://webserver1.example.com/map"
debug="0" reloadable="true" >
</Context>

So the link http://mytomcat/mapping goes to
http://webserver1.example.com/map
I don't want to use redirect html-file/JSP a.s.o.

Any ideas ?

Thanks Frank
