I don't know what happening here but in my case all is working properly. I'am using Tomcat3.2b2
on NT4.0 and Linux with oracles classes12_01.jar driver.

May be other jar's like visibroker using other dynamic classloading mechanisms based on the
DefaultClassLoader and not on Tomcats ClassLoader. So they cannot be loaded properly from
web-inf/lib dir because the DefaultClassLoader cannot see the classpath of the webapplication.

Try to rename the .zip into a .jar file. That should work.
Like classes12_01.zip --> classes12_01.jar.
