Hi Calvin

Assuming tomcat is a normal HTTP server, to specify which host you want try
this:

POST /examples/servlet/myservlet HTTP/1.0
Host: mymachine.com

Hi...

    Does Tomcat support absoulte URI ?

     I used telnet post to try to invoke the servlet in tomcat ...
     i can invoke it if i do something like this
     telnet <my machine>  <port>
     POST  /examples/servlet/myservlet  HTTP/1.0

     but i will get http 400 invalid request if i do somthing like that
..
     telnet <my machine>  <port>
     POST  http://<my machine>:<port>/examples/servlet/myservlet
HTTP/1.0

     I will appreaciate any ideas ...
