When your run the ./ you also have to point it to the modified
.xml file that points to the 8008 and 8009 ports..

./ -f /path/to/server_with_8008.xml
./ -f /path/to/server_with_8009.xml

Subject: stopping tomcat

I'm having a problem stopping tomcat. I'm running apache/solaris and using
two virtual hosts - running at 8008, and 8009.

Things start up fine, but when I try to run the "TOMCAT_HOME/bin/
stop" I get the following error messages:

Stop tomcat Connection refused
        at Method)
        at Code)
        at Code)
        at org.apache.tomcat.startup.Tomcat.stopTomcat(Compiled Code)
        at org.apache.tomcat.startup.Tomcat.execute(
        at org.apache.tomcat.startup.Tomcat.main(

I started Tomcat with the -f /path/to/server.xml option.

Things run fine with it working, I just can't get it to stop correctly!

Thanks -
