Subject SocketException while accessing Tomcat
Date Sun, 04 Jun 2000 11:49:52 GMT
Hi everyone!

I installed the binary version of Tomcat Standalone and used the script
given by someone(don't recall his name, but a lot of thanks anyway) on
theFAQ-O-Matic for RedHat 6.1.

Tomcat inits without problems, but as soon as I try to access
http://localhost:8080 it shuts down with the folowing error message :

--------error message starts --------------
java.net.SocketException: Interrupted system call
        at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketAccept(Native Method)
        at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.accept(Compiled Code)

Endpoint ServerSocket[addr=0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0,port=0,localport=8080]
shutdown due to exception: java.net.SocketException: Interrupted system
call
---------------error message ends --------------
Could someone please explain what's going on here?
Has it got something to do with the address(0.0.0.0) and port(0) being
shown in the ServerSocket message?

Thanks in Advance,
 Sandip
