Manpreet,

To accomplish this, you want to use the HttpSession object. There are
countless examples on this all over the web and in every book on servlets.
Basically, the servlet engine will dedicate an object (HttpSession) per
client request. You can stick these counters or whatever objects you like,
into this session object.
