Subject tomcat instalation

Hi, i've just installed the tomcat and i've done this:

setenv TOMCAT_HOME path/to/jakarta-tomcat
setenv JAVA_HOME path/to/jdk

in the .cshrc file i added the line,

set path=(/usr/local/share/jdk/bin $path)

When i finally try to run the tomcat i've got this error:

osvaldo [/home/osvaldo/jakarta-tomcat] > cd bin
osvaldo [/home/osvaldo/jakarta-tomcat/bin] >
Guessing TOMCAT_HOME from to ./..
Setting TOMCAT_HOME to ./..
Using classpath:
osvaldo [/home/osvaldo/jakarta-tomcat/bin] > Context log: path="/examples"
Adding context path="/examples" docBase="webapps/examples"
Context log: path="" Adding context path="" docBase="webapps/ROOT"
Starting tomcat. Check logs/tomcat.log for error messages
Context log: path="/test" Adding context path="/test"
Internal error.
Please check your CLASSPATH and your installation.
Exception thrown was of type `java/io/IOException'
Message was `Bad file descriptor'

So i can see that it is just guessing the TOMCAT_HOME I don't understand
why. I defined that! So i'm asking for the correct enviroment variables.

Any help?
