Subject RE: Precompiling JSP

Take at look at Jspc. This is a batch file/shell script that lives in
/tomcat/bin. This will compile a JSP to a .java file. You can then compile
this to a servlet which you deploy in the usual way.

I've some notes on how to do this at

  Subject: Precompiling JSP

  Hi!! Everybody
Can anybody tell me how the JSPs are precompiled and cashed on the
Jakarta-tomcat Web server. Is there some option in tomcat by which we can
keep the pre-compiled copies of JSP,so that as soon as we call a jsp file
its precompiled servlet is available and in this way speed can be increased.
