I found a good book is:

Web Development With Javaserver Pages, by Duane Fields and Mark
Kolb. The URL to it on Amazon is:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1884777996/o/qid=959378771/sr=2-1
/104-3128864-3884454

It has great tutorials, and is JSP1.1.

Hello,
I want to learn more about Java and writing servlets.
I come from a Perl/php background. Are there any books
and or web tutorials that can get me up and running quickly
or should I just buy something like IBM's VAJ product and
point and click?
Thanks
