Subject Auto-restart Tomcat when JVM crashes on Linux?
Date Sun, 14 May 2000 22:32:05 GMT
I need to have the JVM and Tomcat automatically restart when the JVM crashes on Linux. This
doesn't happen real often but it does happen.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

Added requirement:

I want to be able to stop the JVM for my own maintenance purposes without having to reboot
the machine. It should stay stopped when I stop it this way. This is a necessity. It is a
production machine.

Also, if possible I'd like to be able to add the auto-restart feature without rebooting Linux.
