Do you change your computing enviornment?
It seems to me the JDBC driver is not working or not the correct version for your computing

Try the JDBC driver version for 8.1.5. In most case it works.

Subject:	jdbc, oracle, connection problem

I want to connect from a servlet to my oracle-db. in the old days (with
apache and jserv) everything worked fine. now under tomcat i get after a few
seconds an error message (see below). it is no problem with the driver i
think (thin driver) and no username/passwort problem. the oracle listener
listens on port 1521 and seems to work fine. is there any problem with
tomcat and jdbc/oracle ??? does it work different from apache/jserv in case
of connecting to a database???
