Subject Re: JSERV Differences

FYI i am using both JServ1.1 and Tomcat 3.1 with the same Apache server.
I kept the existing jserv module of Jserv1.1 and it works fine with Tomcat
on both Solaris2.6 and WinNT.
Then i only had to add the new Zone definitions for the Tomcat projects in
my existing jserv.conf file.
You have to tell Tomcat to listen to adifferent connector port (eg. 8009 in
server.xml) since the 8007 is taken by JServ and in your
zone definitions for Tomcat in jserv.conf define explicitly that port number
as well.
If you do not plan to upgrade the source code of your JServ projects and use
2.1/2.1 API classess then this solution might be usefull.
Also note that in case you are doing session tracking in your JServ apps
with encodeUrl, encodeRedirectUrl this does not work in Tomcat.
