If I shutdown Tomcat I do still get static pages. So I guess everything is
okay since I'm getting JSPs when Tomcat is running.

I'm also going to try James' suggestion (see next post).

Why not shutdown Tomcat and see if your static pages (.htms .jpgs) still get
served.  If you're getting JSPs, then Tomcat is definately handling them.
